According to Footy Headlines, Arsenal’s 3rd kit for next season will be inspired by their “Blue Lightning” 95 away kit.
The Arsenal Blue Lightning kit was originally produced by Nike in the mid 90s and has recently become a must have for classic kit collectors.
Despite Arsenal having a fairly unremarkable seasoning 95/96 under Bruce Rioch, the Blue Lightning kit has become a fans favourite.
The classis blue kit has gone into Arsenal history due to its link to legend Dennis Bergkamp - who signed for the club the same summer the kit was released.
Whilst the kit only lasted one season, Bergkamp would remain at Arsenal for 11 years - transforming not only the club but English football.
Widely regarded as one of the Premier Leagues greatest foreign imports, Bergkamp is a huge reason why the blue lightning kit has remained so popular over 25 years later.
